K.J Somaiya college of Science and Commerce has produced a good number of International and National level Sports persons in the last 10 years. Some of our students who have won lot of awards and have been also selected to represent our country in recent times are Sharvari Avinash Parulekar (Athletics) Jagruti Mudbadkar (Table Tennis), Krishi Shukla(Judo) and Shivam Pingale (Taekwondo).
Our college participates in almost all the sports events at the Inter Collegiate University of Mumbai Tournaments in both Men and Women categories. We have Professional Coaches to select the best sports students from our college and help them represent the college at State, National and International Levels.
Each year more than 15 students represent University of Mumbai in the All- India University tournaments. Players such as Sharvari Avinash Parulekar Jagruti Mudbadkar, Krishi Shukla, Shivam Pingale, Rohan Chavan, Akshada Lokhande and Prasad Kajve are some of our outstanding performers.
